INTRODUCING
.............

LIZ PAGE & TAMARA JONES of DOLLED UP DOLLS
LOCATION: OKLAHOMA CITY

(L )Tamara Jones & (R) Liz Page

GS: What do you create?
L&T: We take dolls and recycle them into new fresh dolls like zombies and tattooed girls.

GS: What projects are you working on right now?
L&T: Getting ready for a booth at the Rink Gallery.

GS: Where/How/Why did this all begin?
Liz: It all began in July of 2007. I was trying to figure out what to get Tamara for her birthday. Since vintage Barbies are expensive, I made my own. It was so awesome, we both started making them together.

GS: As an artist this year, what about The Girlie Show rocked your world?
L&T: Everything! It was such an awesome experience, the other girlies and the people that came to the show!

The Girlietini: friend or foe?
L&T: Friend!

What are you totally obsessed with these days?
Tamara: perfecting the dolled-up process!
